Decent approx 20 seat bar for those with an overnight stop or locals who want a quick drink and a meal.
Just a few suggestions are needed:
I stopped in for both a drink and a meal and to my surprise was told by the very thin female bartender, "I can only make drinks that are in the system". That was truly a new one on me. Bartenders would usually make any drink a customer asked for. If I want a mixed drink, why does it have to be only what the ingredients are in the system? That isn't customer service.
In addition, the bar lacked Midori. (Common liquor)
My meal was placed as ordered however the cook came out to speak to a customer and 2 mins into his conversation with what seemed to be a friend of his, he told the bartender the last ordered meal was ready. NOTE: I was the only one there who ordered food. Puzzled again... why didn't he just bring it out with him... it was already boxed.
When I received my food, I received a pile 25 napkins as well. That's A LOT!! It was perceived as though, I shouldn't need to ask for any more.
My seat mates who I didn't know snickered in awe.
As the minutes went by, 2 more guys came in and asked what was the cost of 2 types of shots. Each time she had to walk away 5 steps over to the register to give the price. They too were perplexed as to why she didn't know the prices or why aren't they placed where customer can see them.
Which brings me to the menus on the bar. Why are they in a cover like a book? Outsides of the menu are two blank pieces of white paper. You have to open that to see the menu. For better marketing, I suggest the menus go on the outside so it can be visible to anyone who sits at the bar. Otherwise it looks like pieces of white paper in a plastic cover just thrown on the bar.
OR change the binder to a 1 double-sided holder
OR put drink prices and liquor varieties in the empty
pockets.
Lastly, 1 guy at the bar brought it to my attention that the same bartender (only one working on a Wednesday evening), was washing glasses in a solution then soapy water without rinsing.
Usually there are 3 dips to washing a glass and the 2nd dip should not be soapy water. He didn't want to order another beer knowing he could be drinking liquid detergent residual in his beer. This resulted in a loss of potential revenue. Never a good thing with sanitation is a known issue.
Other than the above issues, food is good and the atmosphere is usually quiet.
They do have karaoke on the weekends starting at 9pm but not it's highly attended for some reason. -

The people who work here are nice, but there just are not enough of them to keep up with the demand of guests. The restaurant gets incredibly busy and two or three people are trying to satisfy the bar and the dining room and it doesn't get done well. The food is cheap however and there are good drink specials, but don't eat here if you have a tight schedule because it'll be awhile.

Food is consistently very good. The prices are unbeatable (Appetizer and beer for under ten dollars). The staff is always friendly and the restaurant is very clean. The menu is well rounded with a good selection. Only three stars, unfortunately, because the service is consistently very slow. Very friendly, excellent food, excellent prices. Definitely recommended.
